This is one of my all time favourite side hustles! Event brand ambassadors are basically freelance event staff. To become an ambassador you first need to register at one (or more) staffing agencies. Once you’re accepted onto their books, you’ll receive access to an online portal in which you can book and apply for jobs based on the date, location, skill set required etc!
I was a brand ambassador for around 2 years in my late teens and I LOVED it! I went to cool industry events and even met a few celebs! The role itself is mostly customer service based, ie. working behind the bar, clearing tables, canape service, sampling etc. The average pay is around £10 - £20 per hour, and most agencies will reimburse you for your travel expenses.
